04

Instrumentation

Small-diameter and capillary tube enquiries for precision systems.

These are application areas for the product range. Project-specific material suitability, approvals and supply details must be confirmed before ordering.

Application requirements guide material selection

For process equipment, identify the fluid, concentration, operating temperature and pressure before choosing a grade. For fabrication, identify geometry, joining and surface requirements. For precision assemblies, bore, tolerances and end condition can be as significant as the grade.

Instrumentation and tube connections

Tube fittings depend on compatible tubing dimensions, material, hardness and surface condition. Use the fitting manufacturer’s instructions for the selected connection system, then include those tubing requirements in the purchase specification.
